Simple, yet attention grabbing.

Very basic piano recording, and yet, it has a lot of voice to it. very well constructed idea, though, in my head I could hear all these really cool instruments going along with it (violin, bells, ex.) You should definently add to it, haha, I mean, if you want. :D I feel like that would complete this peice really nicely.

Cool theme xD

Really neat! I could see how it could go with the title. Even though this isn't really a dance song, It definently has a sollid beat. I think it could have used more melody to enhance the beat though. :)

Aelkamal responds:

i'm glad you liked it. yes it could have used more melody, but i'm more of a minimalistic... i'm trying to do lots with few.

(ps: it tends to be hard with a pentium 4...)

Ok, so.....

It's ok, but the beat is really off. and some of the instruments seem to clash. Don't try to do so much in one song. The different note prograssions combined w/different, weird insturments makes it really disjointed.

Nice!

Very pretty, But I feel like it needed a theme. Like a certain chord base or so, that it would come back to every once in a while. I might be wrong; there could have been one, but I just didn't hear it. Anyway, still very good piano sound. :)

DragonX016 responds:

Thanks for the review! I was going for somewhat atonal with the only common theme being a whirlwind of emotion and dissonance. I've got one in the works that's a lot bouncier. Glad you liked it! peace.

Awesome composition. :D

Very clean sound, and nice transitions. Well done!!! I would totally dance to this!! The beat is really well timed. What program did you use??

B-Roze responds:

FL studio 9, with lots and lots of plugins, lol

Now I'm hunger for sushie. <3

Sounds like music I hear at a salon, or some weird vegan sushie hip joint. lol. Very relaxing, and yet the beat makes it "hip" and modern. wow. This is really cool. I'm not a very good judge of ambient music. the only criticism I have is at 3:06-ish, when it gets really weird sounding. At this point, it becomes really unnessecary, and then I was frustrated when it reached it's climax and just fizzed out. You should have gone right back into the previous beat and made that the big ending.

Anyway, nice work!!!

5kyLight responds:

Thanks for the review, and about the whole climax thing: This was kind of an experiment with ambient, so.... :P
But yeah, in the future (oh, wit!) I'll probably do what you suggested. Again, thanks! :D
Also I never really thought of it as being something I would hear at a weird vegan sushi.. oh. Yeah, okay, I can see what you're getting at. xD

Interesting....

Pretty good beat, harmony, and overall idea, but watchout for chashing as you start to build up your instruments. Around 1:30 I really started to hear that, and it kinda killed the song, so watch out! You can make it complicated, just make sure that the notes you use are all based off each other. Don't try to fit 2 unrelated segments together. That's what it felt like you did, and it got a little messy as a result. Otherwise, you have a great idea and you did a good job mixing it. With some practice, and experience, you could be making really good stuff. :)

Gleic responds:

Thanks for comments!

You are right about it getting a bit clustered in the middle. That piano was put there just for the sake of variation; perhaps I will go back and remove it. I would rather the song feel a little static than ... unenjoyable.

Great guitar sound.

This would go great with a country song!!! What effects did you use on the guitar?? You are an amazing guitar player and you have a great sense of rythm. Keep up the good work!!

Blew my mind!!!!

I love how you made the chorus stand out. Great job, but so of the instruments were a little extranious(ex: guitar). Otherwise, I liked it better than the original.

Excellent!

This was very well made. I curious on what programs you used to make this. Very good rythm, however it could have used a little more melody lines to bring out the beat and create a dance-like song.

bigbluechevy12345 responds:

Thank you very much! I used FL Studio 9 to make this. Also I can see what you mean about needing a bit more of a melody, but I was kinda going with a chill house/trance theme so I wasn't too worried about the melody being really complex or anything. Last but not least, thanks for the 9 rating! I'm glad you enjoyed my music. :D

I am an amateur musician and I have been composing music for a year and a half. I hope to beome a professional musician and plan on studying piano performance in college. I hope you like what I have hear to show you. Wish me luck in college!
