Yeah... soooo

Too much distortion!!!!!! And then add a little life into it. You need more sounds to describe what this "robot" is actually doing. Add some harmony, maybe an arpeggio. Those are always cool. Just something to give it some dynamic and life.

Sweet idea!!!

It's a pretty good idea, but you don't really expand on it much. Yeah, the chorus sounds cool, and I need to get my hands on whatever bell synth that was, but the main part of the song is lacking some harmony. You have a basic melody and some drums, which is fine, but you can still add so much more. Try putting the chorus and bells and the string/drums together, and then work based on that. Change the tones to create both harmony and melody lines, while the bells and drums give it rythm.

You have really cool sounds, you just need to combine them. :)

Halcyon13 responds:

Thanks you kindly! I haven't thought about expanding this but I think I might try it out. Like the description says, it was one of the first things I made that I turned into an intro to another song. Thanks for the tips, I never really thought about adding a harmony to the song. Originally the bell was going through the whole track and was fairly loud, but that got messed up. Anyways, The bell sound was FM Bell if you use FL Studio, I hope it brings you great happiness.

WEIRDNESS

Not sure if the drums matched with the main rift at first. This piece was very diverse, and weird, to say the least. But it seems like you put a lot of thought into it. The transitions are very gentle and flowing, yet the changes are interesting enough that you keep listening. Good job overall.

SaturnAscends responds:

Thank you. It's tough juggling a polymeter and forcing it to sound strictly in 4/4 without making it sound a bit off. I may have been able to do better. The weirdness was definitely on purpose. An attempt to throw off listeners. x]
And I made sure I didn't linger too long on one section before changing something up. Thank you, I'm glad you viewed this piece favorably.

Sweet tune!

Sounds like the intro to an awesome tv show. :) This is really well mixed and put together and everything. Excellent job!!

WeedLion responds:

Thank you a lot. You put a smile on my face. :)

Needs Work...

It's a good starting idea, but it's very simple, and your instruments aren't that good (don't worry, mine aren't either). Try expanding on this some by changing the base rift more, or by adding more layers. Good Start though. :)

Really Cool!!!

What program did you use for this??? I've been meaning to get my hands on some good organ sounds, but I don't know whre to get them. :/

This is very well written, and the dynamics of the organ are used wonderfully. Great job!!

Loved it at 1:20... and 2:20

It started out a little slow, but it really built up well. Try to break from the main chord progression some more. Good job with all the neat sounds. I really like the guitars at 2:40. The high pitched one made a cool sound.

loved it at 1:07!!!!!

tehehe. I knew looking at this that i was either going to hate it or love it. you did a really good job!! It's a new look at the main theme, and I think you interpreted it well. Thanks a lot, and can't wait for August 27th!!

MrTwisT responds:

Thanks! Also can't wait for the continuation of series 6! :)

hehe, YES, expand!!!

Pretty darn good. The suspenceful ending made it sound like a horror flick, but that's ok, I thought it was cool. Let me know when you finish it!! :)

Or4nges responds:

Rofl, glad you liked it! I'll try and add on. It may end up turning into a dubstep or trance song though. We'll see :P
